The Enquiry Desk In Session: The Portfolio Review
March 2012, Somerset House

The Enquiry Desk designed and delivered a 2-day event as part of Pick Me Up 2012 at Somerset House in London.  The format of the event – a series of live portfolio reviews – focussed on sharing knowledge and building working relationships between a group of emerging artists and a panel of leading creative industry professionals.

Alongside The Enquiry Desk founders, Josie Sullens and Zara Wood, a changing panel of experts within advertising, design, fashion and publishing gave advice and constructive feedback to the presenters.

The activity created a public platform for the pre-selected group of budding graphic artists and illustrators to show their work to the art fair’s visitors. Spectators in turn had the chance to see cutting-edge art and gain insight into creative methods and commissioning processes.
