Be confident (not to be confused with arrogant or egotistical). If you truly believe in your ideas and yourself, your clients and others will too.

Lewie Evans, 2013

Designer & Founder — Lewie Evans Design Studio

Studied: BA Hons Graphic Design at The Surrey Institute of Art & Design, Epsom

Since graduating from The Surrey Institute of Art & Design (now UCA Epsom) in 2003, Lewie has worked as a graphic designer for the John Lewis in-house Retail Design and Brand Creative teams at their head office in London and more recently for Brighton based design agency Mark Design. In February 2013 Lewie launched his own independent design studio with a focus on producing brand identity systems, digital design and printed communication.

Working with established clients such as Rowen & Wren, The Goldsmiths’ Centre and The John Lewis Partnership in addition to smaller start-ups, the studio’s primary aim is to help individuals and businesses realise their ideas in a visual way by delivering appropriate, timeless solutions through different platforms which communicate their story effectively. From the outset of the brief, Lewie likes to get inside the mind of the target audience and think how they think so he is fully engaged from an early stage.

It’s a cliché, but Lewie has a somewhat unhealthy obsession with design. Away from the vast selection of internet design blogs, he draws inspiration from his interest in interiors, fashion, music, and European city breaks. He also enjoys running as it gives him time to think away from the desk

Lewie is a Design Brighton (@DesignBton) commitee member and helps organise creative events which are held in Brighton once every month.
