The Enquiry Desk will be hosting a Quickfire Q&A session with artists and collaborators of a new exhibition entitled ThreeD. The exhibition – part of Brighton Fringe Festival – showcases 3-dimensional work created by leading illustrators Graham Carter, Helen Musselwhite and Tom Frost. All three who have found success both as exhibiting artists and commercial illustrators.
We will be quizzing them on how they work and discussing the vast range of techniques and formats open to contemporary illustrators. Creative director Simon Armstrong of Ticktockrobot animation will also be giving us the lowdown on collaborating with the artists when creating a series of promotional animations for the show – see here.
The audience will also have an opportunity to ask the artists about their work during the session.
This free event opens the ThreeD private view at Boxbird Gallery – so it’s also a chance to see the show before it opens to the public.
Please note that this is a guestlist only event. To attend please RSVP: hello@boxbird.co.uk
Quickfire Q&A is on Thursday 2nd May at 6pm
*UPDATE* This event is getting filled up very quickly, so if you are unable to make the session but want to ask questions to the ThreeD artists that tweet them to us with #QnAThreeD before midday on 2nd May: @theenquirydesk
